Subscription Information: We collect minimal information necessary to manage your subscription through Apple's App Store, including subscription status and transaction details. This information is processed by Apple, not directly by us.
Support Communications: If you contact us for support via email (holduphelp@gmail.com), we may retain your email address and the content of your communications to provide assistance.
What We Do NOT Collect
• Personal Information: We do not require or collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other personal identifiers for app registration.
• App Usage Data: We do not track, store, or analyze which apps you use or how long you use them.
• Screen Time Data: While HoldUp integrates with iOS Screen Time API to function, all screen time data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
• Location Data: We do not collect or access your location information.
• Device Information: We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, or other device-specific information.
• Analytics or Tracking: We do not use analytics services or tracking technologies to monitor your behavior.
How HoldUp Works with Your Data
iOS Screen Time Integration: HoldUp uses Apple's Screen Time API to display pause screens before configured apps. This integration requires permission to access Screen Time data, but this data never leaves your device.
Local Storage Only: All app configurations, settings, and "time saved" statistics are stored locally on your device. We cannot access this information.
No User Accounts: The app operates completely anonymously without requiring user registration or account creation.
Third-Party Services
Apple App Store: Subscription management and payments are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple's privacy policy governs how they handle subscription and payment information.
iOS Screen Time API: We integrate with Apple's Screen Time framework to provide our core functionality. Apple's privacy policy governs this system-level integration.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or share any personal information with third parties. Since we collect minimal information and operate anonymously, there is virtually no data to share. We may disclose information only if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Since most of your data remains on your device and we collect minimal information, your privacy is inherently protected. Any communications with our support team are handled securely, and we follow industry-standard practices to protect any information we do process.
Data Retention
Support Communications: We retain support emails only as long as necessary to provide assistance and resolve issues.
Subscription Data: Subscription information is managed by Apple and retained according to their policies.
App Data: All app settings and usage data are stored locally on your device and can be deleted by uninstalling the app.
Your Rights
• Data Control: Since your data stays on your device, you have complete control over it.
• App Deletion: You can delete all app data by uninstalling HoldUp from your device.
• Support Data: If you've contacted support, you can request deletion of your support communications by emailing us.
• Subscription Management: Manage your subscription through your Apple App Store account settings.
Children's Privacy
HoldUp does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since our app operates anonymously and doesn't collect personal information, it's inherently compliant with children's privacy requirements. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information through support communications, please contact us to have it removed.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy and, if necessary, through the app or our website. Your continued use of HoldUp after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
